PaRty!

Wesley was so excited for his party. He said that school wouldn't go fast enough. He wanted to open presents and eat cake right when he got home. This was the easiest cake ever and so fun to make. It took longer to cook the 4 round cakes than it took to decorate. Wesley loved it. He loves chocolate and that is what the cake was made of.

Brian was so excited to get Wesley his first gun. They are planning a trip to Arizona together to hunt Javalina. After getting his gun. Wesley and Brian went to the shooting range and Wesley hit the inner circle of the bulls eye every time.

Happy Birthday Wesley

Turning 10

WESLEY ross MADSEN is 10 years old

Wesley is all boy! He is growing up to be a great young man. He is a go getter and over achiever. He loves to explore new things. He loves; baseball, hunting, football, legos, army men, reading, school, science, G.A.T.E, scouts, riding his bike and air planes. He wants to be an air force pilot and then an aeronautical engineer.

Wesley has had many accomplishments this past year! He is in the 4th grade and has maintained a straight A report card. He took a test at school and got into the Gifted and Talented Education program at school. He has read the most books in his school this year. He won the pinewood derby for his Pack. Wesley catches onto things easily. He is still full of questions and most of the time Dad and Mom do not have the answers. Wesley is such a great boy and we are so glad that we can be apart of his life. We love you!

Christmas Day

The kids almost fell down the stair with excitement.
Wesley said that it was the best Christmas ever.

I don't know if you can tell, but it is
Riley under all that crazy hair.
She loved unwrapping her gifts.

Preston loved his big dump truck!
He has Wesley and Riley push him around in it.

Annie had no clue today was Christmas.
She loved the wrapping paper.

Goodie Time

Kids love to make cugar cookies and frost them.
Riley just takes her time and tries to make the frosting perfect.

Preston is doing a fabulous frosting job for a three year old.

Wesley just can not get the frosting done fast enough. He loves to eat all of his cookies.

Now what neighbor wouldn't want these beautiful tray of homemade sugar cookies.

Gingerbread House

Having five sets of hands was a little hectic
with this small house. Maybe next year we
need to get two. We gave Santa Claus our
house of treats. Santa ate all of the candy
and left the gingerbread house.

Flag Football in December?

Wesley played flag football this winter and played Defense.
He loved it and as the season went by he made great Defensive plays

Brian was the Head Coach of this huge team. he really got into it.
There was Defense and Offense and for the offense the
boys had wristbands that had all of his plays on them.
He said that it was tough, but he loved it. I know he did!

Christmas Tree Decorating

We have a tradition that on the first Monday after Thanksgiving we as a family put up the Christmas Tree and the kids decorate it. Well they decorate the front lower half because they can not reach up high. This will be Annie's first Christmas and she slept through all the fun.

Slacker!!

Hey so sorry for all my slacking.
That is all I can say, there are no excuses!
There will be new updates soon.
It has been crazy around the homestead.
4 children has been tricky. Especially when
our 4th won't let us put her down half
of the time.
