We love the MOUNTAIN!!

This picture took so much effort.
All three needed to be somewhere else.
Climbing rocks, building dams, and throwing rocks in the stream.

This is the first trickle of water that
we have seen in
two years of exploring up the Mountain.

Riley is the climber in the family.
She is always trying to get as high as she can.

Wesley took a moment out of dam building to take the picture.
We take any picture we can get of him.
Right now pictures hold him back.

Preston couldn't stop throwing rocks in the water.
Every time he hit the water he would scream "I got it".

Opening Day at the ball park

Wesley is on the A's this year. A new challenge for him this year was that he had to try out for the coaches show them his skills. Then the coaches got together and had a draft.

Riley loves to roller-skate. Takes you back to when you were little and went to Classic Rollerskating rink in Sandy.

Preston just wants to play on his baseball field. He loves the game so much. He walks around the house with Wesley's cleats on and bat and glove in hand. He can't wait for his turn.

We all scream for ice cream! We love ice cream!

Turning 9

Look who turned 9 years old
WESLEY ROSS MADSEN
Wesley is in the 3rd Grade now and Brian and I just can't believe it. Time has flown by. You are an amazing young boy. Full of life and joy. You are always seeking for knowledge. A simple answer to a question just does not cut it for you. You need to know everything. Thank you for the internet. You love most everything. Just an easy going kid. You idealize your Dad and want to follow him where ever he goes. You are a great example to us and impress us each day. You are going to see and do great things in life! We love you Mouth.
The Dragon
I love to make special cakes for the kids birthday and surprise them.

Wesley loved the surprise and couldn't wait to slay the beast

This was scary to turn the knife over to him.

Three New Additions to the Family

#1: This is Wesley's school science creature.
I would like to say thank you to the school for the donation
to our home .
The crayfish's name is Pepper
he eats cat food.

#2: This is Snickers. Riley played soccer for the first time this year.
She was very timid with the ball. She probably touched it 5 times.
Brian wanted to see more from her and so Daddy is a sucker
for animals and promised Riley a guinea pig if she scored a goal at her last soccer game. This lite a fire in her because she scored three.

Riley was really nervous to hold snickers,
but would hold him with help.

Preston wants to sleep with Snickers. We had to put a
lock on the cage because Preston kept opening the cage trying
to hold Snickers. He loves coming into the room to watch him.

#3 This new addition has not come yet and won't
be here until September 5. This is number four and has been
long time waiting to come to our family. We are so excited!
